Electroland Ghana Limited, a trusted distributor of electronics and home appliances, has unveiled a fresh wave of discounts under its latest campaign, “Electroland Cedi Apicki Apicki Promotion”, in response to the continued appreciation of the cedi against major foreign currencies.
The campaign, which offers double discounts on a wide range of electronic appliances, comes barely weeks after the company rolled out its first “Cedi Apicki” promo. The new initiative is aimed at passing on further price relief to consumers.
Addressing journalists in Accra, the Head of Marketing and Media Relations at Electroland Ghana Limited, Adiza Ibrahim, explained the rationale behind the new campaign.
“We have had to do this because we realised that the cedi keeps appreciating against the foreign currencies. On top of the discounts we offered just two weeks ago, we have introduced another reduction.
“It’s a double-double offer for our customers. As the biggest consumer electronic company that distributes Samsung, TCL, and our own brand Nasco, we are proud to launch this promo today, June 9, 2025,” she said.
Adiza stated that the discount covers items such as TVs, fridges, air conditioners, washing machines, gas cookers, home theatres, mobile devices, and small kitchen appliances.
She stressed that the prices will remain dynamic and will be adjusted in line with the strength of the cedi in the coming weeks.
She also emphasised the company’s commitment to transparency and urged customers to be vigilant:
“We have not authorised any third party to take mobile money payments on our behalf before delivery of items. If you’re purchasing from us, always verify the source—only pay through our official channels to avoid being defrauded.”
The promotion, she explained, aligns with the government’s call on businesses to pass on the benefits of the cedi’s appreciation to consumers and is available at all Electroland showrooms and authorised dealer outlets across the country.
