Our PVT estimates are consistent with EC’s results, says CODEO

CODEO verifies the Electoral Commission’s report of the results of the presidential election, which it says are consistent with its own parallel vote tabulation (PVT) estimates

The Coalition of Domestic Election Observers (CODEO) says its parallel vote tabulation (PVT) estimates mirror the official results of the presidential elections as announced by Jean Mensa, the chair of the Electoral Commission (EC).

The PVT estimates from CODEO state that President Akufo-Addo attained 50.98% of the voite, with an error margin of plus or minus 1.2 percentage points. This tallies with the 51.3% announced by the Electoral Commission (EC).

CODEO’s PVT estimates also show an error margin of 1.2 percentage points on the 47.66% vote share for the NDC’s John Mahama, which corresponds to the 47.35% announced by the EC.
