Election 2024: Nana Frimpomaa Sarpong Kumankuma declared CPP flagbearer
Nana Kumankumah garnered 763 votes, defeating her contender Yaw Anokye Frimpong, who received 586 votes
Nana Frimpomaa Sarpong Kumankumah has emerged victorious in the Convention People’s Party (CPP) presidential primary, securing her place as the party’s flagbearer for the 2024 general elections.
At the end of the voting process, a total of 1,360 votes were cast. Nana Kumankumah garnered 763 votes, defeating her contender Yaw Anokye Frimpong, who received 586 votes.
There were 11 rejected ballots.
In her post-election speech, Nana Kumankumah emphasised the importance of unity within the party, calling on all members to rally together to build a stronger front for the upcoming elections.
The election supervised by the Electoral Commission (EC) was conducted in regional capitals across the country.
