Election 2024: Children of Victory Bible Church International pray for peace

Members of the Children’s Ministry (Victoryland) of Victory Bible Church International (VBCI), Dominion Sanctuary, have prayed for a peaceful, free, fair, and transparent election on 7 December 2024.

The children made the supplication during their annual “Victoryland Day,” a day set aside by the presiding Bishop, Rt Rev N.A. Tackie-Yarboi, to celebrate all the ministry’s children and allow them to showcase all they have learned throughout the year to their parents.

A group of about 20 children holding the flags of the two major political parties, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), as well as a big Ghana flag, beseeched God to protect the country’s borders and allow the upcoming elections to be more peaceful than any other election in the country.

The children also asked God to touch all political actors in Ghana with his right hand of power so that they would eschew trouble, strive for orderliness, and embrace unity before, during, and after the 7 December 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.

As part of the day’s activities, the children of “VictoryLand” entertained their parents and the congregation with a brass band performance and a Cadet procession. Other performances included Spoken Words and Recitals, choreography, Drama, Song ministrations, and a sermon was also preached by one of the children.

At the end of the performance, Bishop N.A. Tackie-Yarboi prayed, asking God for his Grace to preserve all the children of Victory Bible Churches International and, indeed, all the children of Ghana and the rest of the world.

Bishop Tackie-Yarboi also cautioned parents against child intimidation, noting that they are the country’s future and parents should only support and encourage their children to reach their full potential.
