UK based non-governmental organization Life Beacon International has donated learning materials and food items to Christ ambassadors school a privately owned basic school that caters freely for children within Oyarifa, in the Greater Accra Region.

Associate of the organization, Diana Naa Abedi explained that the materials which included school bags, notebooks and pens, were to help enhance the delivery of quality and accessible education to children in the school since they didn’t have the means to do so.

“This school became of particular interest to us especially because the kids wanted to be impacted intellectually but they don’t have the resources so we decided to come and sow a seed not only in terms of supplies but in terms of feeding.

“Most of these kids get their square meals from the schools so as part of what life beacon is about, we decide to come support them,” she said.
