ECG: We’ve resolved challenge with PNS, Ecash metering system

Customers in parts of the Volta Region, Takoradi, Tema, Cape Coast, Kasoa, Winneba, Swedru, Koforidua, Nkawkaw and Tafo have since last week been unable to purchase credit as result of the challenge

The Electricity Company of Ghana(ECG) has said it has resolved the challenge with its PNS, Ecash metering system across the country which had hitherto made it difficult for customers to buy electricity credit.

Customers in parts of the Volta Region, Takoradi, Tema, Cape Coast, Kasoa, Winneba, Swedru, Koforidua, Nkawkaw and Tafo have since last week been unable to purchase credit as result of the challenge.

In a notice on Saturday(1 October), ECG says the challenge with third party vending points has now been resolved.

The company says it will open its offices on Saturday and Sunday between 9am to 4pm to serve customers.
