Samini drops new Black Stars song after criticising World Cup track

Ghanaian dancehall artiste Samini has dropped a new World Cup celebration track titled “Win Africa win”, after describing the official song for the Ghana Black Stars as “wack”.
King Promise, the composer of Black Stars (Bring Back The Love), an anthem for Ghana’s senior national men’s football team, has been criticised for the quality of the song by a section of the public including Samini.
Samini said the Ghana Football Association (GFA) could have commissioned someone to do a better job, adding that the song cannot be compared to the previous World Cup tunes, which received great reviews from music lovers.
