Dr Eric Oduro Osae exits Internal Audit Agency

Dr Eric Oduro Osae, a governance and PFM expert, a Chartered Accountant and Lawyer was appointed Director-General of the IAA in 2020

Dr Eric Oduro Osae, the Director-General of the Internal Audit Agency (IAA), has announced his exit from the state Agency.

His exit is contained in a letter issued by him and dated Thursday, 17 April 2025. He expressed his gratitude to all stakeholders he has worked with since his appointment in 2020

“This is to inform all stakeholders that I have today, 17 April 2025, exited from the service of the Agency as Director-General.

“I want to use this opportunity to thank all of you for the support, advice, and the opportunity to serve God and country,” Dr Oduro Osae’s letter read.

Dr Osae, a governance and Public Financial Management (PFM) expert, a Chartered Accountant and Lawyer was
appointed Director-General of the Internal Audit Agency in 2020

Before his appointment, he served as the UNDP appointed Technical Advisor on Governance to the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development (MLGRD) from 2017-2020.
