NPP primaries: Eight MPs fall in Ashanti Region

The NPP’s recent parliamentary primaries brought unexpected changes in the Ashanti Region as prominent lawmakers, including the deputy minister of communications, Ama Pomaa Boateng, Subin MP, Eugene Boakye Antwi and Atwima Mponua’s Isaac Asiamah, failed to secure candidacy for the 2024 general elections.

The loss of Collins Augustine Ntim in the Offinso North further added to the wave of changes, leaving political observers contemplating the party’s internal dynamics.
