Bawumia to proffer bold solutions to Ghana’s challenges on Wednesday, says Miracles Aboagye

The address is expected to highlight Vice-President Bawumia's vision for Ghana in his quest to succeed President Nana Akufo-Addo in 2025

The 2024 presidential candidate of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mahamudu Bawumia is set to proffer some bold solutions to the challenges facing the country, as he seeks the mandate of Ghanaians in the December elections.

The address which will take place at the Kofi-Ohene Konadu Auditorium, University of Professional Studies (UPSA) on Wednesday (7 February) at 4 pm is expected to highlight his vision for Ghana.

It will be on the theme “Ghana’s next chapter; selfless leadership and bold solutions for the future.”

Speaking to Kwaku Nhyira-Addo on the Asaase Breakfast Show on Tuesday (6 February), the spokesperson for Bawumia’s campaign team, Dennis Miracles Aboagye said all is set for Wednesday’s event.

“The vice-president is ready to outline to the people of Ghana what his plans and visions for this country are, going into the future. What we should expect from the vice-president is, him trying to take us on a journey of where we have come from.”

“Where we are at the moment, what the prospects and challenges are going into the future and in his view and opinions, what he believes will be the solutions to these challenges and their enhancement to these prospects,” he said.

“His vision is to proffer solutions to lead this country to more prosperous citizens going into the future. We should expect some very bold solutions to specific issues that he believes need to be addressed,” Aboagye added.

This will be the vice-president’s first major address following his election as presidential candidate of the NPP in November last year.
