COVID-19: Ghana’s active cases drop to 1,876
Ghana's active cases have been dropping marginally after a steep rise in December last year

At least 115 new coronavirus cases have been confirmed by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) pushing the country’s active cases to 1,876.
The death toll hits 1,395 after four additional fatalities were recorded across the country, an update on the GHS COVID-19 dashboard reveals.
As at 26 January, 2022, Ghana’s total confirmed cases stand at 156, 920. Currently, health officials have recorded 153,649 recoveries.
So far, 36 persons are in severe condition whiles 5 remain critical , according to GHS. Cases detected at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) are 6,984 with 6,437 recoveries.
