Coca-Cola has partnered with Ghanaian content creator Kojo Junior, privately known as Peter Kojo Appiadu, for a World Cup-themed brand activation held in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

The activation took place on 3 February 2026 and brought together selected African digital creators as part of Coca-Cola’s engagement activities linked to global football celebrations.

Kojo Junior joined the group of influencers to participate in the experience, sharing content around the matches, fan engagement, food, and cultural activities associated with the tournament.

Widely known for his Twi voice-over videos with English subtitles, Kojo Junior has built a strong digital presence by producing content that reflects everyday Ghanaian experiences while appealing to audiences across Africa and beyond.

His work has attracted collaborations with several international brands, including Visa, Maggi, Bolt, Nescafe, and KFC, positioning him among Ghana’s most recognisable digital creators.

According to Coca-Cola, the partnership forms part of a broader strategy to engage African youth through authentic storytelling that connects sport, culture, and digital media.

Beyond brand collaborations, Kojo Junior is also involved in community-focused initiatives. His annual “January 4 Junior” outreach programme provides food and support to vulnerable individuals, particularly during the post-holiday period.

During the Abidjan activation, Kojo Junior shared behind-the-scenes moments and cultural highlights from the World Cup environment, giving followers real-time access to the experience through his social media platforms.

Commenting on his growing international exposure, Kojo Junior said the opportunity demonstrates that African creators can maintain their local identity while reaching global audiences.

The Abidjan engagement marks another milestone in his career, as Ghanaian digital creators continue to gain visibility on international platforms through partnerships with global brands.
