On Wednesday, 16 July 2025, Mrs Christiana Agyapong Antwi, wife of Hon Ken Ohene Agyapong and Patron of the Ladies for Ken Women’s Wing, demonstrated her untiring compassion and deep commitment to the New Patriotic Party’s grassroots by visiting an injured  NPP delegate at the 37 Military Hospital.

The incident, which was brought to her attention by the Ladies for Ken Women’s Wing, involved a party secretary from Zion Oak, Kpone Katamanso Constituency.

Without  hesitation, Mrs Agyapong personally led a team of women to the hospital to stand in  solidarity with the delegate and offer comfort during her time of need.

True to her nature as a woman of action and heart, she didn’t show up empty-handed. Her  donation to the patient and hospital included 100 packs of bottled water, Toilet rolls and hygiene supplies, and a cash envelope to support the patient’s recovery.

Mrs Agyapong shared, “I was heartbroken when I heard the news. As a woman and a mother, I felt the need to be there,  not just with items, but with presence and care. This is who we are. We lift each other.”

Her visit left a lasting impression on both hospital staff and patients. A senior representative of  the 37 Military Hospital conveyed gratitude on behalf of Commander Brigadier General  Evelyn and the entire medical team, calling the gesture “a timely expression of true leadership  and humanity.”

Beyond her role as the spouse of a presidential hopeful, Christiana Agyapong has emerged as  a visible force of empathy, unity, and silent strength. Whether it’s rallying women, supporting  vulnerable party members, or showing up when it matters most, she continues to represent the  values of service and solidarity.

With Hon. Ken Agyapong expected to follow up personally, the Agyapongs together remain a  powerful symbol of leadership anchored in compassion and community.
