Speaking to Asaase News during the exercise, the founder of the Naada Jinapor Foundation who is also the wife of the MP for the Damongo Constituency, Naada Jinapor indicated that it has become necessary for the foundation to give back to society.

She added that it is the Damongo constituency that gave the husband and her the mandate therefore the need to bring healthcare to the door step of the people in the area.

“Our focus now will be primarily children health, children nutrition, because we feel that children are the future and we have to take care of them,” she said.

Naada mentioned that the foundation also provides financial support for parents to buy drugs that are not in the organisation’s dispensary.

Kwasi Obeng Mensah, leader of the medical team at the West Gonja Municipal Hospital said the team will refer cases to bigger health facilities for further management if the need arises.

“This is not the first time Naada Jinapor Foundation is organising this, and we have been doing due diligence to cases that we see,” he added.
