The police in the Central Region have arrested a father for allegedly burying his son alive at Breman Brakwa.
The suspect Paul Adobaw, alias Okor, is said to have buried his one-and-half-year-old child Yaw Adobaw with the support of his landlord and a spiritualist who are currently on the run.
The father of five was allegedly ordered by the spiritualist, Ama Nkansah, to kill the child believed to have been possessed by evil spirits hence his inability to walk or talk since birth.
The suspect together with the landlady and the spiritualist decided to bury the child at the back of the their house which is near a river but luck eluded them when they were chanced upon by the complainant, Abubakar Muhammed.
The body has since been exhumed.
The Central Region police spokesperson, DSP Irene Oppong, confirmed the news to Asaase News, appealing to the public to help arrest the other suspects on the run.
