Son of Ghanaian legendary boxer and painter Bukom Banku has truly appreciated Sharaf Mahama, son of former Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama, for financing his trip to the United Kingdom.
In a sweetly worded message posted on social media, the young ma whose name cannot be given out of respect
commended Sharaf Mahama for his benevolence and patronage. He referred to the chance as a “dream come true” and further averred that moving to the UK was a lifetime desire.
This is the entire world to me and my family. I cannot thank Sharaf Mahama enough for this act. May God bless him richly,” he stated in a viral video.
Sharaf Mahama, a businessman, has also been busy supporting young talents, particularly in the areas of sports
and education. His benevolence act on Bukom Banku’s son has been garnering huge applauds from Ghanaians, with others commending him for using his resources to build others.
Although the reason for the trip is not yet known, sources suggest that it could be for education, professional
development, or sports training in view of Sharaf Mahama’s deep involvement in football and youth empowerment initiatives.
This latest action adds to a long list of growing reputation as a sponsor for the youth for Sharaf Mahama, in view of his previous attempts at assisting wannabe football stars as well as young prodigies in Ghana.
Bukom Banku himself has not yet commented on his son’s visit, but close sources state that he is extremely grateful for the gesture his family has been extended.
With the news still dominating the headlines, many are hoping that such an act of kindness will make other young leaders want to come to the aid of others in need.
