BoG lists eight unapproved money transfer organisations in the remittance and forex market

The eight unapproved organisations include Lemfi, Wise, Transfer Go, Xoom-A Paypal Service, Sendwalu, Boss Revolution, BTC-Aza Finance and Supersonic

The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has listed eight unapproved money transfer organisations operating in the remittance and forex market in the country.

The eight unapproved organisations include Lemfi, Wise, Transfer Go, Xoom-A Paypal Service, Sendwalu, Boss Revolution, BTC-Aza Finance, and Supersonic.

The central bank has, however, warned the public against engaging with the unapproved money transfer organisations (MTOs).

In a statement on Thursday (16 November), the BoG the public, banks, Dedicated Electronic Money Issuers (DEMI), and Enhanced Payment Service Providers (EPSP) to refrain from conducting any transactions with these unapproved organisations.
