Bono East: Three picked up over unlawful possession of weapons

The three suspects are in police custody for impersonating the police in a deal to cart cashew nuts from Fiema in Nkoranza to Jama, near Techiman

The police in the Bono East Region have arrested three suspects for unlawful possession of weapons and impersonation.
The suspects are Prosper Kwame Boaho, 25, an alleged security supervisor of Gaza Security, Kobina Domanle, 47, security personnel at Gaza security and Dzahile Kofi Anoumou Delali, alias Mark, a dealer in cashew nut.
Reports say Delali hired the service of the complainant, a truck driver to cart his cashew nuts from Fiema in Nkoranza to Jama, near Techiman on an ostensible police escort.

He subsequently alerted the police leading to the arrest of the suspect with the exhibit pump action gun and 22 BB live cartridges.
Speaking to the media, the Bono East regional police spokesperson ASP Amponsah Bosie Dankwa said their investigations reveal that suspect Prosper is a self-styled security supervisor of Gaza security and employed Kobina Domale as security officer at Vziit Cashew Company, who was also arrested with a locally manufactured single barrel gun with sevenBB cartridges.
ASP Bosie said all the three have been remanded into police custody after a court appearance for unlawful possession of weapons and impersonation.
