Beenie Man: I’ve never tested positive for COVID-19 and I’m fully vaccinated
Beenie Man was detained in Ghana for performing after reportedly testing positive for COVID-19 at Kotoka International Airport

The international reggae superstar Anthony Moses Davis, also known as Beenie Man, says that, contrary to media reports, he never tested positive for COVID-19 on his arrival in Ghana to take part in the Bhim Concert.
Beenie Man was detained in Ghana by Kotoka International Airport police for flouting COVID-19 protocols.
Sources revealed that he tested positive for COVID-19 upon arrival at KIA last week, ahead of the Bhim Concert at the Accra International Conference Centre.
He was asked to self-isolate but managed to flout the directive and performed at the Bhim Concert with Stonebwoy.
Beenie Man performed at the show alongside other high-profile artists from Ghana, including Samini, Kwaw Kese, MzVee and Empress Gifty.
But in a post on Twitter Beenie Man wrote: “Update to my fans who are genuinely reaching out. I have no COVID, never caught COVID before, tested negative for COVID. Been travelling for the past six months COVID-free. Fully vaccinated. I guess someone wants me to have COVID. Uno weird yf.”
