Ashanti Region: 23-year-old woman murdered in Kwadaso, Police say suspect attempted suicide

Police in the Ashanti Region have arrested a 34-year-old man, Robert Kwabena Boamah, for the brutal murder of a young woman near Dominase in the Kwadaso Municipality.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Service on Thursday (24 April).

The victim, 23-year-old Dorothy Owusu Annor, was found with multiple stab wounds near an abandoned taxi believed to belong to the suspect.

Boamah, who attempted suicide after the crime, is now in police custody and will be arraigned soon.

Police say they remain committed to pursuing justice for victims of violent crime.
