Asaase Radio’s Elvis Crystal guest-models at this year’s Ghana Menswear Week

Like the 2019 edition before COVID hit, this year’s event will feature young people with special needs on the ‘Catwalk 4 Autism'

The host of Asaase Radio’s Rush Hour, Elvis Crystal will be walking the runway as guest model at the 5th edition of the Ghana Menswear Week (GHMW).

Speaking to Asaase News, Nana Mensah, founder of the GHMW said he decided on Crystal as a guest model for this year’s edition, “because of his personality as an influential media personality as well as his fashion sense and general finesse as an individual.”

Like the 2019 edition before COVID hit, this year’s event will feature young people with special needs on the ‘Catwalk 4 Autism.’ The initiative is to create awareness on the inclusion of people with special needs in creative and lifestyle activities by pairing them with celebrities and influencers for their catwalk on the runway.

The inclusion of these young ones with special needs inspired Crystal to accept the honor as he believes, “it’s an opportunity to impact the autistic children and to give them hope to be and to do, that all is not lost.”

Elvis Crystal is an award-winning radio personality with over nine years of event hosting and drive-time experience under his belt. Aside his on-air flair and dexterity with words, Crystal is known for his sense of fashion and style. He has a knack for choosing the right outfit to suite any occasion.
