New officers for the Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) Alumni Association have been inducted into office to spearhead affairs for the next two years.
This follows the election of leaders for various portfolios last August.
The new leadership headed by Giant Arc. Daniel Teye ’93/’95/H5, known for his architectural mastery in projects like the Aqua Safari and Safari Valley Resorts, were inducted into office as part of the 116th Anniversary and Homecoming last Friday.
Speaking at the induction ceremony, outgoing President of the GAA, Gt. Dr. Tetteh Abbeyquaye ’89/H8 charged executives to continue the good work done by previous Executive Committees.
“I can inform you that the GAA is in good shape. What we have to do is to continue with what we’ve already started and make sure that this association continues to grow year after year” he said.
He also cautioned Giants against donor fatigue urging “we cannot give up at this time.”
He was optimistic that with the support of Giants, the situation will soon change from investing only into projects.
“We have to put in all the efforts and I know that there will come a time that we will be meeting here and there will have no projects to do because we have done everything. But this is not the time to relent”
