Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan says the All Regional Games will benefit most Ghanaian clubs.
The maiden All Regional Games which is set to be launched in Kumasi next month will feature nine sports
disciplines with athletes under the age of 18 from all 16 regions competing in the event, aimed at unearthing talents in the country.
Gyan speaking on the Asaase Breakfast Show on Tuesday (25 June) mentioned there will be scouts at the games to monitor footballers to create more opportunities for them.
“We are talking to some scouts, to scout players to make sure they can also take them abroad. It will even benefit most of our local clubs, because these All Regional games are meant for non-league players, so they can see these young ones and then bring them to their clubs, to make sure they develop,” he added.
