Alan Kyerematen: Let’s be united to “Break The Eight”

The trade minister's advice comes after some party members hoping to contest the polling station election were denied access to the forms

Alan Kyerematen, the Minister of Trade has called for unity within the rank and file of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in making the “Breaking The 8” agenda a reality in the 2024 elections.

His comments come after some party members hoping to contest the polling station election got stranded at the party’s offices over the weekend after they were denied access to the forms.

“As we embark on another phase in our internal democratic process to select polling station executives, I wish to commend everyone who has volunteered to serve and support our great NPP tradition,” Kyerematen posted on Facebook.

“I offer my very best wishes and support to all contestants even as we all commit to uphold the values of our great New Patriotic Party and uphold the elephant as our winning symbol.

“May we come out stronger, more united, and motivated to break the 8. With UNITY and common purpose, we shall win together and build a prosperous Ghana, creating equal opportunity for all!” the presidential hopeful concluded.
