Gabriel Coffie eyes success in first bout outside Ghana

Ghanaian lightweight boxer Gabriel “Silence Warrior” Coffie is gearing up for his first professional fight outside Ghana.
The undefeated boxer (10-0-2, 9 KOs) is set to face the equally unbeaten Italian-Congolese lightweight Alessandro Trabucco (8-0, 2 KOs) on 25 May, 2024, at the Salle Henri Watremez in Roubaix, France.
Coffie, known for his knockout prowess, has built his career entirely in Ghana so far. His professional debut in February 2020 resulted in a draw against John “The Magic Man” Quaye (13-5, 10 KOs).
Since then, “Silence Warrior” has racked up an impressive streak of victories against local opponents, including Godwin Kofi Appiah, Simon Tackie, Saidu Amadu, Kevin Ahoumenou Jerome and Francis Aryee, among others.

This upcoming fight against Trabucco marks a significant step for Coffie as he steps onto the international stage. The bout will be a test of his skills against a formidable opponent on foreign soil.
