Ajagurajah says God is human, not spirit: “He rested because he was tired”
Citing passages from Genesis, he argued that if God could walk, be heard, and rest after creation, then He cannot be merely a spirit

In a bold theological claim, Kwabena Boakye Asiamah, founder of the Ajagurajah Movement, said God is not a spirit but a human being.
Citing passages from Genesis, he argued that if God could walk, be heard, and rest after creation, then He cannot be merely a spirit.
“Spirits don’t walk or get tired,” Ajagurajah said on the Asaase Breakfast Show on Friday (4 July).
“The Bible says Adam heard God walking in the garden. How can a spirit walk?” He added, “God rested on the seventh day. You only rest when you’re tired. That proves God is not just spirit—He is human.”
He further challenged conventional interpretations of the Bible, stating that “darkness and water existed before God” and that the Bible is incomplete. According to him, he possesses another book that completes what the Bible omits.
“I met Ajagurajah at age 16”: The Spiritual Inheritance of a Fearless Leader
Kwabena Boakye Asiamah traced his spiritual journey to his teenage years, saying he first encountered the angel Ajagurajah at age 16 while leading his father’s church.
His father, a strict polygamist and spiritualist with over 50 children, had a deep influence on his worldview.
“He made us believe that sleeping with a woman could kill us,” Asiamah revealed. “Even today, I’m still scared of my father.”
Despite inheriting many of his father’s teachings, Ajagurajah says he is breaking some of the rigid patterns. “I want to raise my children with openness, not fear,” he said.
Ajagurajah also revealed that he is related to controversial artist manager Bulldog, calling him “fearless” and “my brother from my father’s side”.
He described his movement’s emblem — wings, a pierced heart, and a knife — as symbolic of spiritual authority, personal sacrifice, and the criticism he endures. “They hurt me without knowing me,” he said.
