Eric Nkansah appointed acting director general of GES

He replaces Professor Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa whose appointment was terminated by President Akufo-Addo earlier this week

President Akufo-Addo has appointed Eric Nkansah has acting director general of the Ghana Education Service (GES).

Nkansah’s appointment is effective 19 October 2022.

The new GES boss replaces Professor Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa.

Earlier this week, President Nana Akufo-Addo terminated the appointment of the director general of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Professor Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa.

He is to go back to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) from where he was seconded to the GES, an official communication from the Office of the President said.
