BG Furnishings/furniture

Accra’s furnishing industry will see a significant addition with the opening of a large-scale furniture showroom in the capital.

In line with the company’s policy to promote employment and create decent jobs, the showroom will be run not only for profit-making but also to attract potential job-seekers.

The opening event is scheduled for Monday 29 September.

Speaking at a media launch of the exhibition on Thursday (25 September) in Accra, the lead organiser, Gold Huang of BG Furnishings, said the facility would provide customers in Ghana with easier access to quality products that previously had to be sourced abroad.

Huang announced that the installation of the showroom, located on the Spintex Road, was carried out by Chinese craftsmen, adding that warranties are available on all products purchased.

“The opening of BG Furnishings will cut down trips to China and Europe just to buy furniture,” Huang said.

“We are offering top-quality products for homes and offices. Customers can save airfares and shipping costs by finding everything they need right here in Accra,” he said.

BG Furnishings is a company specialising in luxury furniture, kitchen sets, customised spaces and other high-end interior solutions.
