Ghanaian striker Felix Afena-Gyan says ‘It’s always a pleasure to be part’ of the “All-Star Football Festival” 2024 which comes off this month.

Tamale will be the center of attraction in Ghana as The All-Star Festival returns for an electrifying third edition.

The Business Africa Consulting Group Limited (The BAC Group) football festival has an array of activities that celebrate the beautiful game and the rich cultural heritage of the Northern Region.

The event will include competitive community football gala games that will showcase top talents, Sports Business series, community durbar, an unforgettable legends night that will pay tribute to the stars of “yesteryears”, and the climax will be the All-Star Team takes on the Northern Stars’ select side of talented local players at the Aliu Mahama stadium on Saturday, 22 June at 5pm.

Speaking on Team Talk on Asaase 99,5, Afena-Gyan who has been among the stars that have graced the occasion in previous years said: “It’s always a pleasure to be part of the 2024 All-Star Festival.

“We did it two years ago and it’s happening like this year too. So we are always expecting something big. And of course, it will be very big. So we’re urging everybody to come in numbers and support the event. You know, I’m always there. we are humans in life. And we are always together, so I’m open to people who want to meet and take pictures,” he said.

The previous editions in 2022 and 2023 were organized in Accra and Dormaa respectively featuring stars like AFCON winner, Franck Kessie, Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Mubarak Wakaso, Emmanuel Boateng, former Ghana coach, Avram Grant, among others.
