Akufo-Addo congratulates Sandema Nab for maintaining peace

The president said under the sterling rule of Nab Azagsuk Azantilow II, the area has also witnessed tremendous development

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has commended the Sandema Nab, Nab Azagsuk Azantilow II for his sterling leadership that has seen the maintenance of peace in the area.

President Akufo-Addo said under the sterling rule of Nab Azagsuk Azantilow II, the area has also witnessed tremendous development.

Speaking at the tenth anniversary celebration of the Feok festival in Sandema, Akufo-Addo intimidated the need for peace and unity for accelerated development.

“I want to use this occasion to congratulate Sandema Nab, Nab Azagsuk Azantilow II on the 10 years of his rule which have been peaceful and constructive for the people of Sandema and the Buli people.”

“I want to thank Almighty God for his mercies on us for maintaining the peace and serenity of the Builsa people and the leadership of the Sandema Nab,” he said.

President Akufo-Addo said although the country was currently going through difficult economic crisis, his government was committed to the chiefs and people of the area.

He urged courage, vision and unity among the Ghanaian people, saying it was only through these virtues the country could come out of the economic difficulties strongly.

“Note very well that my government stands with you in these difficult times that we are all going through. But with courage and with vision and with unity amongst us all, we will come out of these difficulties and get our country back into a  good place. That is a firm promise that I’m making to you.”

President Akufo-Addo made a donation of GHC50,000 towards the festivities while reiterating the government’s further support to the chiefs and people of Buluk.
