MCE: Development of Nkwanta South depends on unity

The MCE said his office will continue to support the assembly as they initiate plans to develop the municipality to improve on the living conditions of the people

Bright Lenwah, the Nkwanta South Municipal Chief Executive, has called on assembly members of the area to remain united following the election of a new presiding member.

“Nkwanta South can develop and become an enviable municipality if only you the honorable assembly members are united and are together,” Lenwah said.

He said his office will continue to support the assembly as they initiate plans to develop the municipality to improve on the living conditions of the people.

The new presiding member is the assembly member for Odumase/Ashiabre electoral area Edward Yilignam after polling 32 out of 43 votes. Robert Avedzida, the incumbent who is the assembly member for Nkwanta West Electoral area, obtained 11 votes cast.
