Accra: Kirk Franklin and Maverick City ignites the Kingdom World Tour stage

The Grammy Award winner, Kirk Franklin, popped out on stage a few minutes into the performance by Maverick City, setting the stage ablaze with dance moves and allowing the audience to sing to some of his popular songs.

The energetic gospel act later took the organ to play some very popular songs, which allowed the choir to sing along.

After almost an hour of performance with Maverick City and Tim Godfrey, Kirk thanked Ghana for the support and handed over the barton to Team Eternity and Luigi Maclean.

Next was the young, promising and three-time Ghana Music Award nominee for vocalist of the year, Kyei Mensah, who mounted the stage to give the audience a short but impactful time.

The 2017 Ghana Music Artist of the Year, Joe Mettle, crowned the event with his spectacular performance, leaving the attendees with a memorable event etched in their minds and hearts.

Originally scheduled to take place at the ICGC Christ Temple East, had to relocated to The Love Centre new UPSA.

This caused some delays in the original start time of the show to after 8pm but patrons waited to still enjoy every part of the paise, worship and spiritual upliftment of the Kingdom World Ghana edition.

The event was organised by Faith Collective in collaboration and partnership with Cure Management Group.
