The Ph.D candidates drawn from various disciplines relating to governance and development studies with focus on security and strategic studies and peace and conflict studies are on a study tour of Ghana to familiarise themselves with issues of governance and national development within the ECOWAS sub-region.

The delegation was led by the director of the Institute of Governance and Development Studies, Nasarawa State University, Professor Andrew Zamani.

He was accompanied by his deputy, Dr Usman Amadi and Prof Eugene Aniagba, a Professor of International Relations.

The executive director of EOCO, COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah welcomed the team, most of whom were in Ghana for the first time, thanking them for choosing EOCO for their academic exercise.
