Lawrence Tetteh: The longest fasting I’ve ever done was for three days
The televangelist was sharing his encounter with the Lord in Israel with Kent Mensah on Sunday Night on Asaase Radio
Dr Lawrence Tetteh, an author and world-renowned evangelist has said Christians do not need to embark on forty-day fasting before the Lord can speak to them.
He said the longest fasting he has ever done in his life was for three days.
Dr Tetteh was sharing his encounter with the Lord in Israel with Kent Mensah on Sunday Night on Asaase Radio.
He said: “I’m a very sensitive person. I don’t want to fool myself and I certainly don’t want to fool anybody… I don’t need to see things to be what I am today…A lot of people keep saying ‘they went to do forty days fasting and they had anointing.’ I’ve never done forty days fasting before.”
“I’ve never done one-week fasting before; I’m not ashamed to say that, because that’s the truth anyway. I may be deceiving myself. In my whole life the longest fasting I’ve done is three days,” he added.
“So sometimes people say ‘and I went to the Atwea Mountain and the Lord spoke me, I say okay, I don’t think you need to do forty days before the Lord speaks to you.”
