2021 Bhim Concert will be crazy, says Stonebwoy

Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has promised his fans an unforgettable moment at this year’s Bhim Concert at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Centre.

The concert which will feature international guests including Jamaican dancehall artiste Beenie Man takes place in Accra on 21 December 2021.

Speaking on The Asaase Breakfast Show on Monday, 20 December 2021, Stonebwoy said: “The last two shows we brought in Morgan Heritage, this year we are bringing Beenie Man all the way from Jamaica. So Tuesday 21 December, it’s going to be crazy. Make sure you grab your passes and I promise you are not going to regret it.”

Dubbed the “Bhim of Hope with the 1GAD”, Stonebwoy told his host Kwaku Nhyira-Addo that his show is to unite Africa and the Caribbean communities.

“This show has always seen internationals coming because that is the type of event I want to build. To bridge the gap between the Caribbean community and the African or the Ghanaian community,” he said.

The award-winning artiste said COVID-19 has dealt a heavy blow on the music industry but he is optimistic things will return to normal very soon.

“It has not been easy at all,” the “Baafira” hitmaker admitted. “Trust me, we are now recovering from the COVID situation talking about resources, putting this event together, travel restrictions, who is eligible and who is not, different rules at different ports and entries so these ones are summing up to be the actual experience for me putting up yet another edition.”
