We have a solid message moving into 2024 general elections, says NPP communicator

The Eastern regional communications director of the NPP said the party campaign in the region will focus on highlighting the NPP presidential candidate's vision of digitalisation

The Eastern regional communications director for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Evans Osei Yeboah, has said the party’s campaign in the region will focus on the development achievements of the Akufo-Addo-led government.

In an interview on Asaase Radio’s Big Bulletin on Monday (29 April), Yeboah stated that the party will highlight Vice-President Mahamudu Bawumia‘s vision of digitalisation and the various infrastructure projects completed in the region.

“We are going to tout his [Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia] vision, as in digitalisation, what he intends doing based on digitalising the economy.”

“We have a lot of developmental projects in Eastern region that we can tout,” said Yeboah. “Every community has seen development; every region has seen development, be it educational infrastructure, be it health infrastructure, or sports infrastructure.”

Yeboah pointed to specific development projects in the region, including four astroturf pitches and a regional stadium in Koforidua.

“The Nana Addo-led government has done a lot of infrastructure projects in the region, so our campaign is basically going to be based on the things that we have done,” Yeboah emphasised.

“In Koforidua, where we are now, we have about four astroturfs; we have the regional stadium, we now have a stadium in Koforidua,” the NPP regional communications director stated. “So basically, communicators in the region, we have a message moving into [the] 2024 [general elections].”
