Quality Insurance deepens women empowerment with “Go Girl” wellness meet-up

Currently, a percentage of the premium on the "Go Girl" policy goes to support construction of a childhood block under construction at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital

Quality Insurance has organised a wellnesss session aimed at deepening its quest to empower women in across the country.

The “Go Girl” policy, borne out of QIC’s flagship policy, “Kingly Queenly” comprehensive motor insurance, is exclusively for women offering unique benefits including a courtesy car in the event of an accident, renewal process at the DVLA Prestige Center at no cost.

Currently, a percentage of the premium on the “Go Girl” policy goes to support construction of a childhood block under construction at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

 

Speaking to Asaase News on the sidelines of the wellness meet-up on Saturday (27 April), brands manager at Quality insurance, Jude Jerry Boahin said the company’s goal is to make the “Go Girl” policy a household name in the next five years.

“We have brought together a little above two hundred women to come and exercise and keep their body fit. And our icon is a medical doctor who took them through what women should look out for in terms of their health. if we have people keeping healthy, you will get them to insure their vehicle with us” he said

“..Every year, we have a programme targeted at women. Last year, we distributed over 300 cancer test kits to women for free. So, every year there is something we are doing all supported by Go Girl,” he added.

“For us as a company, our major goal is to make ‘Go Girl’ a household name. In every home, ‘Go Girl’ should be known by somebody and it is achievable, In the next five years we want ‘Go girl’ to be a household name in Ghana,” Boahin said.

On her part the icon the ‘Go Girl’ motor insurance policy, Dr Vanessa Mensah-Kabu advised Ghanaians to sign onto the policy to enjoy the benefits that comes with it.

“The intentionality of ‘Go Girl’ is that it is able to welcome women from all parts of Ghana who want to have a bespoke and thought through. And I encourage all women to sign onto the policy.”

“I am definitely very much impressed with today’s wellness programme and the end of the day the goal is to ensure we are healthy body mind and soul….am amazed at the turn out,” she said.
