Nii Ayi Tagoe joins Asaase Radio for a new chapter

The versatile radio personality officially begins work at Asaase Broadcasting Company in May 2024

Nii Ayi Tagoe, the distinguished media personality known for his captivating presence and unique style, has officially joined Asaase Broadcasting Company.

The renowned media personality has expressed excitement about bringing in fresh perspectives, diverse experiences and unique talents to the Asaase family.

“But it honestly feels really, really good to officially come back to radio and play the music that people my age, people slightly younger than me and people older than me want to hear.”

Tagoe will be bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the Asaase brand and will play a vital role in driving company’s growth and success.

“… So it’s really wonderful joining Asaase,” he added. 

Ayi Tagoe has approximately 20 years of experience in media and joins the on-air team with added responsibility for managing a new programme “Back to the Old School“.

“I’m supposed to start my show on the 4 May, which is sometime next week, Saturday, from 4pm to 6pm. So trust me, I am looking forward to it.” 

“… let’s just take one Saturday at a time. Even though I’m older than I used to be when I last left radio, I’ll definitely be better than I was in 2018,” he added.
