GWCL: Parts of Accra to experience interruption in water supply

Parts of the Greater Accra Region will from Wednesday (7 December) experience interruption in water supply, a statement from the Ghana Water Company Limited has said.

It follows announcement by the GWCL to shut down the Tema Booster Station for two days to pave way for the replacement of dilapidated equipment.

The GWCL is, therefore, urging consumers to store enough water ahead of the exercise.

The areas to be affected include Tema, Industrial Area, Baatsonaa, Coca Cola, Kasapreko, Lashibi, Klagoon, Sakumono, Ashaiman, Adjei-Kojo, Borteyeman, Santoe, Trassaco.

Others include Afresco Estate, Manet Court Regimanuel Estates, O’Reily Senior High School, Airport Hills, Martey Tsuru and surrounding communities.
