The Ghanaian contingent, nicknamed the Black Loopers, features experienced campaigners Emmanuel Clottey and Israel Akalie. Both players competed in the men’s singles event at the 13th African Games.

In the women’s competition, Ghana will be represented by Cynthia Kwabi and Joanita Borteye. The duo impressed at the 2024 ITTF West Africa Regional Championships, securing silver medals in the women’s team category.

The Black Loopers will be aiming for continental glory at the ITTF Africa Cup while also setting their sights on securing a coveted qualification spot for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
